Data Policy

With this Privacy Policy, we provide you with information about how, to what extent, and for what purposes we process your data when you visit our website and about your rights regarding data protection. Any data processing by us is carried out in compliance with the legal regulations, especially the GDPR.

a) When visiting our website
When accessing our website, information used by the browser on your device is automatically sent to the server hosting our website. This information is stored temporarily in a so-called log file. The following information is collected in this context without any manual input from you and will be stored until automatic erasure:

We will process the information above for the following purposes:

The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 (1) point (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest follows from the purposes of data processing listed above. We do not use the collected data to draw conclusions about your identity.

Furthermore, we use cookies and analysis services when you visit our website. This Privacy Policy’s Nos. 4 and 5 provide further explanations.

b) When subscribing to our newsletter
If you have given consent under Art. 6(1) point (a) GDPR, we will use your e-mail address to send you our newsletter regularly.

Entering an e-mail address is sufficient to receive the newsletter.

Cancelling the subscription/Withdrawing your consent:
You can unsubscribe from our newsletter, i.e. withdraw your consent to receiving it, at any time. In doing so, your consent given to its delivery will expire at the same time.
A link to cancel your subscription can be found at the end of each newsletter.

Legal bases for the General Data Protection Regulation:
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) stipulations applicable since 25 May 2018, we inform you that the consent to transmit the e-mail addresses is based on Art. 6(1) point (a), 7 GDPR.

We further inform you that, according to the legal stipulations in Art. 21 GDPR, you are entitled to object to future data processing at any time. The right to object refers, in particular, to the processing for direct marketing purposes.

c) When using our contact options
Should you have any questions, you can contact us by e-mail. A valid e-mail address must be entered so that we know who is sending the query and can reply. You may provide further information if you wish.

Data processing for contacting us takes place acc. to Art. 6(1) point (a) GDPR is based on the data you provided voluntarily. When you use the contact options, the personal data we collect will be erased automatically once your submitted request has been dealt with.

3. Data Dissemination
Any transfer of your data to third parties for purposes other than the ones specified below has not been made.

We will only disseminate your data to third parties if:
• you have given your express consent by Art. 6(1) point (a) GDPR;
• disclosure is necessary under Art. 6(1) point (f) GDPR, and there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding interest worthy of protection in not disseminating your data;
• if there is any legal obligation for the dissemination by Art. 6(1) point (c) GDPR, as well as
• doing so is legally permissible and, under Art. 6(1) point (b) GDPR, necessary for executing contractual matters with you.

• restriction of processing (right to restriction of processing).

c. Right to data portability

2. Purpose of and legal basis for processing
We process personal data which we have received from you within the framework of our cooperation. Relevant data may include a form of address, given and family name, valid e-mail/postal addresses, telephone numbers (landline and/or mobile), CVs, photos and similar.

Data are collected pursuant to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act provisions to fulfil our obligations under the contract which we concluded with you (“Order/Mandate Contract”).

Data processing will be carried out based on the contract we concluded with you and/or upon your request and is required according to art. 6(1) sent. One point (b) of the GDPR for the above purposes is the appropriate processing and mutual fulfilment of Mandate Contract obligations.

3. Disclosure to third parties
Your data will only be transmitted to third parties if this is required to process and fulfil our contractual duties towards you. Unless you consent, they will not be transferred to third parties for other purposes. Personal data transmission may also mean transferring work samples as files and/or films to present them on our website, newsletter platforms, or social media.

4. Data storage and erasure
We will store personal data collected in the context of our contractual cooperation only for the duration of the cooperation and erase them in compliance with legal provisions.

5. Data protection rights
You have the right of access in terms of art. 15 of the GDPR, the right to rectification in terms of art. 16 of the GDPR, the right to erasure in terms of art. 17 of the GDPR, the right to restriction of processing in terms of art. 18 of the GDPR, the right to object in terms of art. 21 of the GDPR and the right to data portability in terms of art. 20 of the GDPR; the restrictions under sec. 34 and 35 of the German Federal Data Protection Act [BDSG] shall apply.

Under art. 77 of the GDPR, you may also file a complaint with a data protection authority. Art. 7(3) GDPR grants you the right to revoke your consent anytime, prohibiting us from continuing data processing activities based on such consent.

6. Right to object
Insofar as your data are processed pursuant to Art. 6(1) sent. One point (f) of the GDPR based on legitimate interests is that you have the right, pursuant to Art. 21 of the GDPR, to submit an objection to the processing of your data insofar as appropriate reasons exist that arise from your particular situation.
